A controller with far fewer buttons than the standard controllers for the system (thus necessitating bespoke control schemes) and inferior motion sensing capabilities (WM+ nonwithstanding), whose sole advantage would be IR pointing, which is great for UI navigation but has been effectively superseded by gyro aim assist for camera control purposes? I made an adapter to take classic video game controllers for Sega. On the Nintendo Switch Pro controller, the A, B, X and Y buttons have been moved from where they are on the standard Joy-Con controllers. Wii U Pro controller is my favorite controller for Super Smash Bros., but I have a MayFlash adapter that lets me use Wii U Pro controller on Switch whenever I like, already.ĭon't really need Wii controller support, though. It's not really necessary, and adapters already exist for the Wii U Pro controller and IIRC even the Wii Remote (mainly for classic controller support tho).
